IT Initiatives

The Information Technology (IT) initiatives and promotion of e-Governance activities was begun by the District Administration is from the inception of National Informatics Centre (NIC), Collectorate, Coimbatore started functioning from September 1988. The other department which involved in implementing e-Governance projects is ELCOT a Tamil Nadu State Govt. Agency for providing TNSWAN connectivity and training for Govt. staffs.
